PUBLIC THANKS TIME!

Bringing Honestly Charlotte to fruition has been a long process (over 4 years since the original draft of the first script was written!) and a very rewarding one, if not always easy. None of this would have been possible without the help of a lot of people.

First and foremost, my writing and producing partner, Joan Macbeth, without whom that original draft would likely still be sitting on my hard drive. Thank you, Joan, for believing in the original concept and taking this journey with me.

Also to Michelle Muldoon who created the group that brought Joan and me into each other's worlds, and who was there for advice and as crew on both the short and the series.

Thank you to Sarah Hedar who directed the original short/pilot and did so much for us, both on that production and on the series. We couldn't have pulled it off without you.

Laurel K Brown, our fantastic DP, for going above and beyond the call of duty, and for shooting it so well and making me feel like I was always in safe hands on set.

Jean Tejkel for all of the sound as well as all of the incredible music.

Alex Leigh Barker, Editor-extraordinaire who not only made the episodes look great but went well above and beyond, guiding us through all the parts of the post-production process that we didn't know we didn't know.

Ashley Lynch who got the colour done so quickly and so beautifully for us.

Pam Kearns - I couldn't ask for a better acting partner. Thank you for being the Louise to my Charlotte.

Jane Avery for making Gabe so mean when she is, in reality, such a lovely person.

Mirella Gibeau for breaking Charlotte's heart (we asked her to!!)

Shelley Janzé, Ethel Pitchford, Barbara Ellison, and Deb Sears for doing big things with small roles. I have never laughed so hard at muffin eating in my life.

Beth Morrell for our beautiful poster, postcards, end credit art and all of Charlotte's art. It's all her, folks - I really can't draw worth beans. Her stuff is beautiful. You can and should buy some of it from her.

My mom and my niece, Katie, for Charlotte's custom pajamas.

Our crew, too numerous to name in this post but who are all named in the credits, so please watch the show and all of the credits and read the names of these wonderful people, who it bears mentioning are mostly women. We did this with an almost-all-female crew. Whether you were on set for one day or eight, your contributions were invaluable. You are all spectacular.

And finally, to my family and friends for your support and encouragement, and to every single person who gave us even a dollar on IndieGoGo - we could not have done this without you.

Thank you all. I love you all. Please watch the show. I hope you'll love it as much as I do, and if you do, please help me promote the hell out of it. Thank you. ❤️
